POTTERY WORKSHOP
This pottery workshop provides an introduction to the wheel throwing technique, covering all the basics. It's divided in three parts:
- Centering clay and pulling the walls of a cylinder
- Finishing some pieces with the trimming technique
- Decorating them, painting with underglazes

I'll provide aprons, but comfortable clothes that can get dirty are advised.
Trimmed nails are extremely important when working this technique.
The pieces will later be glazed by me and delivered at the studio within four weeks.
The price of the workshop already includes materials, glazing service, and firings.
The pieces belong to the student and will only be kept three months after notice of completion.
Same day cancelations are not refundable, let me know if something comes up beforehand and we'll reschedule.

Semi-private workshop as the maximum capacity is up to two students.

Can you ship my ceramic pieces after the workshop?
Yes! We can ship your finished pieces once they have been fired and are ready. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the student and will be charged separately based on the destination and package size.
How long will it take for my pieces to be ready?
We typically need about one month to have your pieces ready. Ceramics go through a long process, including drying, firing, and glazing, to ensure the best results. We'll explain each step during the workshop. It's a bit of a wait, but definitely worth it!
Can I use my ceramic pieces for everyday use?
Yes! Once finished and properly fired, your pieces are food-safe and suitable for everyday use. They can be used for eating and drinking, and are dishwasher-safe unless we advise otherwise for a specific piece. We'll share care instructions and explain everything during the workshop.
