CERAMIC INITIATION WORKSHOP
In this workshop we’ll cover some hand building techniques and free form some objects, to the scale of your hand, using some of the basic techniques such as slab making, pinch-pot and coils. We’ll end the session with some decorating on the raw clay using some texture work and underglazes.
It’s a chill, table workshop where we can just wind down and free form your objects taking your time, while sipping a coffee.
Initiation friendly but all levels welcomed.

The workshop is set in the following parts:
- Intro to ceramics and showing examples
- Hand building
- Decorating the pieces with textures and underglazes
I'll provide aprons, but comfortable clothes that can get dirty are advised.
Trimmed nails are also advised when working these techniques.
Listed price as per person. Already includes materials, glazing service, and firings.
The pieces will later be glazed by me and delivered at the studio within four weeks.
They will only be kept three months after notice of completion.
Minimum of two attendees per workshop, if we cannot occupy at least two spots we'll contact in advance to reschedule. Same day cancelations are not refundable, let me know if something comes up beforehand and we'll reschedule.
